ied the first time while I was in the army and had two children. A son, David and a Daughter, Alyssa. My wife and I divorced 10 years later after which I bought my first sailbot and moved aboard. I lived aboard for twenty years. I worked as an Electronics Engineering Tech, at Hughes Aircraft Electron Dynamics Div. in Torrance CA. and when I was laid off I started job shopping. I worked as a contract worker for several years untill the airospace industry started to dry up, then I took a job as a Engineerig Planner at Boeing Aircraft in Everett WA. I brought my boat up from Calif. but I couldent find a slip here in Everett. I loved my boat but when I reliezed that, though I'd paid for it I really didn't own it, I simply leased it from the Government. They told me when I could use it, what I was alowed to do with it, forced me to put signe up in the cockpit warning everyone aboard that if they were caught with illegale susbstances on board, the boat would be impounded, if they threw refuse overboard the boat could be impounded and I could be fined, throwing patroleum products overboard, forced us to use a nontoxic bottom paint and wouldn't let us hire divers to keep the bottom clean, so I sold it. Shortly after I retired in 2002. My 2nd. wife, Louise passed away from cancer. Two years later I met Kathy on match.com and we have been happily married and enjoying each others company ever since.".
