Arthur's Story
Life
My sister, Linda, coaxed me to move to Florida. So on April 30. I moved to a great condo community in West Palm Beach. There are 157 units in this downtown building in walking distance to everything, and with a rooftop pool !
MARRIED at 40, wife died five years later, in 1992. I never had kids, as I have to keep it simple in life. Never drove, so I've always lived near stores and public transportation.
My brother Steve and sister Linda are retired. Steve lives in Wilbraham, MA and Linda splits time between North Palm Beach, FL and Deep River, CT.
People left behind include my 92-year old mother in a nursing home in MA...Expand for more
I hope to come North several times a year.
These days I ambulate with a rolling walker or 2 canes, and have been an amputee for 40 years now.
I love internet radio- it's like shortwave was- so many options for exotic music and talk. Audiobooks and podcasts are always fun. TV and movies are third in line.

I flunked out of Pitt. Entered Central at age 21 as a conditional night student, more serious. Graduated with a B.A..
Workplace
I worked at medical claims for Phoenix Mutual Life from 1974-1984 then in data entry for CT Housing Finance Authority from 1986 to 2003 in Rocky Hill, CT.
