Life
Greetings Class of '82'!
Life has been flying by so fast (don't you think?). It was good seeing many of you at the 20 Year Reunion. I didn't make the recent 25 Y.R. at The Three Oaks, but did manage to reunite and hug some of you at the Creekwalk last Friday. Wayne Bratten and I rode our motorcycles to the Creekwalk. We haven't seen each other since he got married over 13 years ago! It was Great to see those friendly familiar faces :] My My My... we touched many lives didn't we?
My Life: I'm married now to a wonderful woman named Julie. We met and became friends while singing gigs over the years with my Brother Keith's 'Alive Music Orchestra.' Julie has always been a great friend/wife and encourages me to pursue my Real Passions in life.. instead of doing the mundane Corporate/ County Careers I used to devote all of my time to in chasing a paycheck. We all know how that is like.
What I do Now: After Corporate and County life, I spent a few years teaching in special education and after-school programs in Sacramento and Fairfield Unified School Districts. However, I opted out of teaching because I didn't want to go to college for another two years for my Masters Degree. A four ye...Expand for more
ar degree.. for me, took 6 years! (12 unit semesters). I felt like an old professor flunky schooling with students 1/2 my age.
Anyways, I decided to start my own Entertainment/ Mobile DJ Business. It's called...'The Wedding Singers!' LOL! Right now, I work with my other brother Ken with his Entertainment Company.
I signed up for another three months so I can say Hello to everyone. Hope everybody has great health, financial abundance and LOVE in his/her lives. Finally, Big Hugs and back slaps to everyone from the Class of '82!' Go Vaca BullDogs!!! Take Good care of yourselves. Art--- :]
School
Who was my biggest crush? I'll never tell.
Teacher who inspired me the most: In academics (math) Mr. Boele. He was always encouraging to me when I was trying to tackle my Algebra formula's and equations. Thanks to teachers like Mr. Boele I did well in college.
If I could do it all again would I?: Parts of it perhaps...but no rewinds please!
My happiest moments were when I got to be a kid and enjoy the friendships and heart-aches of growing up as a sensitive, creative, energetic and often-time humorous young man. I wouldn't have traded it for anything else. I earned this experience.
