them and learn from them that being well known has more than a few draw backs. I have had the opportunity to reconnect with many of the friends that I went to school with, including my first wife Cindy, through this site and especially with my very first love, Betty Penaloza. We continue to share a closeness that can only be described as fulfilling in many ways. I have learned to grow through Toastmasters while improving my communication and leadership skills and I have achieved more than I ever dreamed possible in advancing to become an Area Governor and Division Governor. I recently competed in the Division H International Speech Contest and found favor in the eyes of the Judges by being named Champion. Every day proves to be a challenge and yet an inspiration as I learn new things and meet new friends and I have no idea where I am headed but I certainly feel that I will be blessed in some way. I gave the Eulogy at my Father's funeral a few years ago and it was the most difficult thing I have ever done. Time heals and I can only hope that will be the case in the coming years. Life is what happens while you're busy making other plans. Mine has been an incredible adventure and I can't wait to experience what comes next. Jack Hathaway, DTM 02/25/2018
