Life Hello! Classmates. I hope everyone is in good health and enjoying life. What did I do after graduation. I was unable to take advantage of a wrestling scholarship due to poor planning on my part. I enrolled at Hartnell and complete my first year. I enrolled for my sophomore year, when out of the blue sky I surprise everyone by enlisting in the U.S. Navy in June of 1978. I was going to school full time and working part-time, but couldn't continue living under my Father's roof. I had a nice car, but my biggest problem was not making enough money to get my own place. The best answer for me at that time was to move on and get out on my own. I completed 6 years active duty (June 1987-June 1984)and 3 years reserve duty as a Hull Technician / Shipboard Firefighter. It turns out to be the best decision in my young adult life. I enjoyed my experience in the Navy, making new friends, traveling, maturing, learning a skill as a firefighter/welder. While stationed on the Island of Guam on the USS Proteus AS-19, I met and married my girlfriend Marie Duenas on July 18, 1981. We have 5 kids. Right from the start we had twin boys Arthur Jr. and Frankie who are 28 years old now. The twins recieved their BA Degree from Mesa State College in Colorad...Expand for more
