Arturo's Story
Life
I am married and we have two grown daughters,Six grandchildren,Three boys
and three girls,Thier names are Alyssa,Julia,Jacob,and kevin,Riley,Colin,Military service, I joint
the Marine corp and serve four years, After my military service I went to work
for the Frieghtliner and White truck dealership,I have being in the parts busness
for over 42 yrs.I also belong to the Masons,Texas Masonic Lodge #8,Alzafar Shrine temple,Iam very proud to have being Worshipful Master of Texas Lodge #8
OOp"s I forgot to mention my wife Carmen Mejia Loera,Sister of Silvia Mejia who
was our Majorette at Fox Tech class of 1959,
I forgot two more grandkids Riley 5yrs,Colin 9 mo's belong to cindy
Military
I joint the United States Marine corp March 31,1960, Was sent to
M.C.R.D boot camp in San Diego,calif,Than to Camp Penelt...Expand for more

infantry training,In 1961 I was shipped to Marine Barracks Pearl
Harbor,Hawaii,where I was in security police section,and than worked
at the Brig section,I really enjoyed my time that I spent in Hawaii,
After I Married I promise my wife I would take her to Hawaii so when
the Potenetate of Alzafar Shine Temple had his trip to Hawaii I sign
for it So I got to take My wife and two daughters that was in 1988.
Well I finally Retired after 43 yrs on the job,Now I
relax and wait for the phone to ring and hope it's
somebody that wants to play golf,Golf is my game
I belong to the golf unit in the shrine and we get together three time a month and play ,I really enjoy it
and the other extra time I have I use it to transport
children to the Shrine Hospitals in Houston and Galveston,Texas as a volunteer driver.
