Hello there. What have I done? This box isn't large enough ...
Went off to college .. graduated from Mary Washington in 1992 (BS in Geology), got married in 1995, went back to college at VA Tech for some grad work (Crop and Soil Environmental Work), had a son in 2000. Moved out to Arkansas in 2001 for a year + a few mos., back to VA for a year, then out to WVa for 4+ years, worked for USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service as a Soil Scientist, and then back to good ole VA! Divorced in 2006 ... And now ... living in the Alleghany Highlands and working in Central Shenandoah Health District as an Environmental Health Specialist, Sr.. sually landscaping or remodelling on my early 1900's farmhouse. I am also a Den Leader for the Sharon Cub Scouts. Busy Busy Busy!! But boy do I like down time! I love to read many of today's contemporary fictional novels ... most recently .. Teen Twilight Series. I'm not too big on watching TV but that's probably due to crunched time more than what's playing. :) When I do catch my breath, it's generally because the hill I'm climbing w/ an 50-80 lb pack weighing me down has made me that way. My work takes me to some very remote areas within Rockbridge County. I drive a Jeep Wrangler to access many of these areas. Love the fact I work outdoors and I do have a small part in "protecting our planet and the public's health", :)
