Audrey's Story
AFter graduation from SHS in 1969 I worked for 3 years at the local Hy-Vee Food Store. Decided to move to bigger and better things so got a job at RCA Service Company in Omaha and moved in with an old friend. She reintroduced me to another old friend from church camp and we ended up getting married. (Andy Lowrance) During our 18 year marriage we lived in Council Bluffs, IA, Ft. Archer, IA. The marriage ended in 1991 and after 9 years as a single mother to our three children (2 girls, 1 boy) I remarried in 1999 to Robert "Buck" Winter and we reside on an acreage north of Boyden, IA. I have been back at Sheldon Hy-Vee since Dec. 1983 and I guess I'm a "lifer" there! My children are grown and gone...Tobi and Sarah are in Chicago and Scott in Sheldon. None are married yet and no grandkids. :-( That's the story in a nutshell.
