Life
Met the love of my life at work-Forsyth Memorial Hosp.We have lived at Shaw Air Force Base,SC,Went overseas and lived at Incirlik Air Base from 1997-1999 traveled much of Europe.Then back to the states. Charles misses flying in the F-16's.My second love is our boys and 3rd love is flying.
Yes-I hold a single engine-pilot's license!Love flying and completed stall and spin training with the FAA,soon after earning my pilot's license!Love living on that edge and pushing myself!Living life to the fullest.Most exciting flight-flying in a Canadian Chipmunk-Canadian AF trainer-we went up to 5,000FT.AGL and he handed it off to me. Never had flown a stick,did I mention-we were flying inverted,(Upside down).It was the BEST, Most exciting time.I did barrel rolls,loops,stalls and spins.Loved flying inverted-seeing the world in a different attitude!! Every move...I rolled out within 100 ft.of the numbers!! I like perfection, and flying requires that if you are going to get home again!
We have been moving every few years when the Air Force sends down those orders!! But see alot of different areas and met some WONDERFUL people.Our oldest Son-Matt is at Virginia Tech. and loving it! Our other son-Josh is at the Air Force Academy-and wants to fly fighters-UGH. I will really worry!!
Our 25nd Wedding Anniversary coming up in 2007.That is 25 years of a FANTASTIC LIFE!!!!God has blessed us greatly.Make each day count and enjoy your surroundings.GOD...Expand for more

After graduation from West,went to nursing school,then worked at Forsyth Memorial Hospital.Was a Labor and Delivery Nurse there until our wedding Oct.1982.Then I moved to Greenville for Charles to finish his internship and residency in Family Practice.He was chief resident his last year.I worked as a nurse in the Family Practice Center and Help set up the minor surgical clinic at ECU. We moved to China Grove in 1985 when Charles completed his Residency.He was in private practice there for 9 years.We had an ever growing practice but few new doctors wanted to come to a small town, so we sold the practice to the hospital and Charles joined the AF....hence the travel and adventure began.......I have been home with the boys, doing the class mom, sport's team mom, boy scout merit badge counselor, and spouses association on the bases.Currently in classes to try a new career. Love crafts, outdoors activities- skiing- water and snow, swimming, hiking, biking, walking, and exercising.
Matt will graduate from VT Dec. 2007, Josh will graduate May 2008, from the Air Force Academy. Matt and Katie's wedding is in Charleston, SC Jun. 14,2008.
