Hi everyone! After COHS and college, I worked in Glendale at Fidelity Federal in the Mortgage Department as a Secretary for the Vice Pres. After 2 years, I applied with the airlines and was hired by National Airlines as a Flight Attendant. I flew for almost 10 years and during this time Pan American Airlines took over National Airlines. I was very lucky to have flown all over the world and experienced many different countries and cultures and met many different people. I was based out of Miami, Florida during my airline years. In 1986 I moved up to New York with my (then) husband and have lived on Long Island, New York since then. I have two wonderful children; Katrina, a gorgeous 28 yr old with a successful job with Xerox and Eric, 25, a handsome high-functioning autistic young man who holds a job and attends a Adult Day Program for disabled adults. Long Island is beautiful, filled with marshes and lots of white beaches and lots of traffic just like L.A. (lol). For the past 12 years, I have been the executive assistant to a CEO of a non-profit organization in Long Beach, New York. That is my full-time job. But I have always had a love for all animals since I was a little girl, and am very involved in my free time as a independent animal advocate and rescuer.
