Audrey's Story
After high school, I went to basic training 3 days after graduation. I spent the summer there. In the fall of 1989, I went to UMKC for a year. I transferred to CMSU the next year. Graduated from there in Fall of 1993. I pledged Delta Sigma Theta Fall 1992.
I went into retail management after graduating with my BSBA in Management until I went to grad school January 1995. I started working at Hallmark Cards in February 1996 after meeting the training supervisor in one of my classes. lmark. I got hired:)I graduated from Webster University with my MA in Human Resources May 1997. I moved out on my own In April 1997. I got married July 1999 and got pregnant on the honeymoon in the Bahamas. I left the workfield to be a homaker for 5 years. I had my 2nd son in October 2002.
I reentered the workforce in 2005 at DST Systems and divorced that year. I left DST late 2005 and started temping. I accepted a position at Everest Connections February 2006 and have remained here ever since-though we've had a namechange.
I am a single mom of 2 boys ages 6 and 8.
