Audrey's Story

Life Hey Everybody!! (11/13/07) What a great way to reconnect!! It is so great to see how many have joined this website. I love reading profiles and bios to see how everyone is doing. I'm doing good. I can't believe I'm 47!! I've been married for 24 years to a super guy named Greg that has been making me happy since we met. We have three great children (don't we all say that?) A son who is 21 (computer guru-built his first computer from trash in a dumpster behind a computer store!!), a son who is almost 18 (artist-musician, long hair and all!! He's the yearbook editor this year and will be designing the cover as well!), and a daughter who is 12 ( competitive dancer, singer, model). They get along great which is a BIG load off of me!! Moving around the way we have has made us pretty tight-knit. This year is a milestone year all the way around (September 2007-September 2008)- Greg and I will be celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. My oldest son turned 21, my second son will be graduating from high school this year, my daughter will become a teenager (can you hear me screaming?!?!), and it's been 30 years since graduation. Time has flown. ...Expand for more
In so many ways it stills feels like yesterday... We left Albany in 1991, lived in Syracuse, New York for 3 years, (CULTURE SHOCK!!!) Tallahassee, FL for 4 years, Overland Park, Kansas for 2 months (long story), Conyers, GA for almost two years, Champaign, IL for 4 years, and now Middleton, WI (Money Magazine's #1 city in US to live in) for 3 1/2 years. And who said I would never leave Albany?!! The sad thing is that none of my children have a southern accent which throws their friends when they meet me. I have never lost mine. It's like being from another country. It never goes away which is fine by me! I'm proud to be from the south and I miss it terribly. Life's great. I would love to hear from any one of you!! There's not a day that goes by that I don't think of a great high school memory or share a cool memory with one of my children or a friend. (Just yesterday as a matter of fact!!) I graduated with a great class and hope everyone is happy. E-mail me!!!! I've been thrilled to hear from some of you and am so greatful to all of you who keep your profiles/bios updated. It keeps me from feeling so far away. It's FREEZING up here!!
