Audrey's Story
I have just retired this May from teaching in Vestavia Hills Alabama. I taught 35 years here and of course 10 in Vestal, New York. I live in Birmingham, Al and do not miss the snow at all! My sister, Jessica , still lives in Vestal so I do go up to see her and visit the ol'Sharkeys on Clinton Street.
My husband died in January of this year so it has been a little rough for me.I have two children, a daughter, Kristen who lives in Clearwater, Fla and a son who lives in Vestavia HIlls, Ala. I have 5 grandchildren so they keep me busy keeping up with their lifestyles.
I just became a mom to 6 Yorkshire terrier puppies that now are 10 weeks old. Who said raising dogs is a good business is out of their ...Expand for more
mind! By the time you pay the vet bills, I will be lucky if I balance. I could be on funniest video taking 6 active puppies to the vet!
I keep myself busy by tutoring children after school so my social life is at a standstill right now.
If ever anyone visits Birmingham, give a call, would love to hear from you. Hope you all are going on the JC cruise to the Bahamas in February that Jim Glanville set up. Looking forward to that and meeting all the old, I mean young alumnae.
I shall never forget the good times that we shared during the high school days in the back garage rec. center.
My current age is 67. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be dead. I was so completely wrong.
