Audrey's Story
I left Fort Madison in 1963 for a life with my husband in the corporate world, mostly Frito Lay and Pepsi, led us to transfers all across the US, including Chicago; Suffern, NY; Milwaukee; Arlington, TX; Upland, CA; Topeka, KS; Dallas; Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. I opted out of the marriage in 1992 and moved from FL back to Dallas for a while, then on to near KC and now in Fort Smith, AR.
Along the way, I was able to tour in Europe numerous times, as well as visit Mexico, Hawaii, Bermuda and Canada. I would love to travel more internationally, but it doesn't have the same allure these days. So glad I was able to go when I did.

ey, and her family live here in Fort Smith--grandson Parker, age 6. The kids are the lights of my life, and I spend lots of time with them, attending many of their activities.
I worked at a university in Central MO for several years, and have made Fort Smith my home since 2001. Retirement has given me time to explore genealogy, play lots of bridge and "lunch out" with the girls.
Watching football is definitely one of my passions. GO HAWKS!! I was back to Iowa recently for a family wedding of two Iowa graduates. The entire theme was gold and black and was really a total blast. Lots of partying and celebration.
