August's Story

After working various jobs (including an extended stint for GTE) I finally started my creative career. I got to create window displays and props for Disneyland and Knott's Berry Farm. I then got hired to design and write greeting cards for a small computerized Greeting Card company in Burbank called CreataCard. ld Headquarters. I worked for them for ten years before getting laid off. I continued working for AG part-time and as a free-lance artist for several years. My favorite job was working in the Photo Studio as a stylist, especially when there were animals in the studio. I went back to college, graduating in 2012 Summa Cum Laude (4.0) and two degrees, Sculpture and Graphic Design, from Cleveland State University.
