I was a US Coast Guard Reservist for the past 27 years. I was on active duty for the past 4 years. I held the rank of Chief Petty Officer. I retired from the US Coast Guard Reserve 01NOV11. A month later I was able to obtain a position in the civil sevice with the US Coast Guard.".
