B's Story

oor band and one of Neil's friends urged him to play on the stage but he did not want to show anyone up. Quite modest. I never did hear Neil play until he was famous and I have never seen him since high school. Neil loved the entertainment factor of attending Mr. Kerr's class (at the back of course) and we both loved to mimick his favourite phrases: "You damn mop'in ass!", and then there was that one particular (front row) student that had to stand on top of his desk and play a yo-yo up/down while Clarence continued to teach. "Damned mop'in fool - that's all you are good for!". I had Clarence for Math all three years and it is a life long memory, to say the least.
