I am a sleeping fool these days. I can go to bed at 11 and sleep to 10. And sometimes I have my best dreams just before I wake up. This morning I dreamed of an old PCHS classmate. She was so vivacious that I thought, "What a pleasure she is to be around." I never had that much regard for her 60 years ago. She's not a member of this site or Facebook. I have been letting my hair grow (Did I have any choice?). Since the hair was unlimited, I decided to stop shaving. That's why I look like I fit right in with this woods picture. Man mountain. I try to avoid reading the news. Mostly unprofitable. I read the Bible sometimes and I'm also interested in Chinese philosophy. I didn't get married until I was 42. That's probably a BIG surprise to any of you who are familiar with me. I am still married to the same girl and we still like each other. The only advice I give my granddaughter about boys is, "If they don't laugh at your jokes, they've got to go. It doesn't matter how hot they are or how rich." (We adopted teen-aged nieces, who gave us grandchildren.) Such a pretty sunset over Sylvan Lake tonight. It was about 80. Delightful night for a walk and a sit.
