Barb's Story
Life
After graduation I moved to Edmonton to continue in my retail career with Woodward's. I soon met my husband in 1984 and became a stay at home mom after my second son was two years old. I then had a daughter in 1992. Since then I have worked from home and am attending college to receive my Educational Assistant Certificate. My oldest son is starting at Minnesota State University with a full hockey scholarship and my second son is right behind. My daughter is also a top level hockey ...Expand for more
player, heading for the olympics in 2010! I became a Christian at the age of 30 and spend alot of time involved in my church New Life Fellowship CRC. My husband is in the window covering business for over 25 years and travels alot. I haven't been able to keep up with the sports I did in school, but have enjoyed watching my children succeed in theirs and giving them opportunities I never had at their age. My mother passed away 10 years ago, but Dad is holding strong at 86 in Sechelt B.C.
