Barb Rauch:

CLASS OF 1973
De witt, NY

Barb's Story

I lived in Valparaiso, Florida before family responsibilities brought me back to the Syracuse area. Upon my return I worked in retail management then went into human resourses and corporate training for many years. In 2004 I moved to the Elmira area to be with my significant other, Ray. y we live in. I am still a "left-winger" my significant other, Ray, is far more "right-winger" conservative. (Think Dharma and Greg.) I still design and make clothing and jewelry. I have also gotten back into drawing and a little painting, Gardening has become a form of meditation for me in my new hometown. I am a voracious reader; lots of mysteries and true crimes, current fiction and non fiction. Pretty much anything that grabs my attention. Sheran (Poole) Ramsden, also J-D Class of 1973, is still one of my very closest, best and trusted friends and I expect she always will be :) If I was asked to sum up my life in one sentence, I would say that "I am definitely in the best years of my life!" FYI: For now, I'm on the Classmates "Freebie Plan" w I signed up primarily to let you know I'm still alive. I also didn't want anyone to think I was ignoring them should they send me a message.
