I got married at 18, and had my first son at 23, second son at 24, and third son at 27....a few hectic years....but the best thing I ever did! I have 7 grandchildren: five girls and two boys. I've lived in NJ, Georgia, California, and am currently residing in Georgia again. The first 12 years we were married, we moved 9 times! After 30 years of marriage, my ex decided he wanted out. The way he did it is worthy of a novel on dysfunction. Guess I was the only one in it for life. He should not have called that bluff! But it takes two and he didn't want to participate. It was easier for him to stay on the road and not deal with issues. Oh well, life goes on. I am much happier now. I've met someone who definitely keeps a smile on my face 99% of the time. He is my #1 best friend. Okay, so he is 11 years younger than me, but we are on the same page. I adore this man and wish I could marry him.....and he has asked me more than once.
