Barbara's Story
I have had a whirlwind life;never enough time to do everything I want to do in a day. Worked 37 years as a Registered Nurse specializing in Cardiac/ICU patients. Minored in Psych in college. At age 54, graduated from college with my second Masters and became a Family Nurse Practitioner. I work as a Family Medical Provider. Married for 27 years with 4 kids.
Have to say that life has been great and I am thrilled to be a medical provider. I still am awed by natures beauty and love the beach at Sunset.
My passions in life is to explore the beautiful parks in our country, especially the Grand Canyon and Yosemite. My second passion is Europe, especially Bavarian Germany, where much of our family is.

Became a widow this past April and have found my way back after losing my love and my best friend for 30 years. Working and good friends have helped me and now I am starting the next phase of my life,,, Looking forward to seeing many of my Malverne friends in the future.
On April 27,2011 I lost my husband Michael to Heart Disease. I will miss him forever. I am finding my way in the world again and continue work helping to run a family practice clinic full time. I am fortunate again to have many wonderful friends who have helped and supported me. Rosalee, you are absolutely the best friend anyone could ever wish for and for all intensive purposes we have been sisters all through our lives. We talk almost every day and that has sustained me. .
