Barbara's Story
Barbara is from San Jose, California. Her schools include James Lick High School and San Jose State University. Barbara taught for 30 years in California and Washington State. She and her husband met while working in Yosemite 48 years ago, and were white water river guides on the American River for 15 summers.

Since retiring 8 years ago, she and her husband travel frequently, sometimes for three months at a time. They have visited 43 countries, most recently Argentina and Chile.
