Barbara's Story
Who am I really?
I am a 57 year old mother, grandmother, sister, friend and widow. Gee that is hard to say. My wonderful husband Fred died in a truck accident in May of 2006. You send your husband off to work with a kiss goodbye and six hours later there are two police officers standing on your porch informing you that there has been an accident and suddenly your whole world has been turned upside down. We were married for over 33 years and we had a wonderful life. I am thankful that Fred got to see his grandson Colin James and be a part of his life for such a short time. It is amazing that I always thought of myself as Fred's wife and never needed anything more than that and suddenly the title no longer applies.
I still see Ellen Murphy Aramini regularly, thank God for Ellen and her husband John, they have been extremely supportative in this most difficult time. I am in touch with Patti Blanke...Expand for more

Believe it or not I have been working for the same Bank for over 40 years. Began my career at the vault department of the bank on the work study program at SBHS. I haven't moved to far from my roots, living down the block from the house I grew up in. In fact my daughter and her husband bought the house from my Dad after my Mom died and they live there now with my grandson Colin James. My sister Marianne and her family live between us so it is sort of a family affair. My brother Gordon lives in Barnegat and I get to see him on jaunts to Atlantic City. My brother Bob lives in rural Pennsylvania and I get to see him about once every two months.
Ellen, Denise and I are trying to put together a Reunion but we got off to a late start. Anybody interested in helping out please contact me.
Hope to hear from you!
