. Married Leif in 1980. Worked about 10 years in hospital and homecare-based nursing, then worked at state (Labor and Industries - 12 years), now Health Care Authority (Medicaid program). Received an MN at UW along the way and had two children. Mid-level supervisor at State; living through our ongoing reduction in force (# 4 coming) and adding on to my span of control (about 8 programs and 25 staff). Such is the life of a state employee.".
