Barbara's Story
Well hello friends! Can you believe how old a lot of people are getting these days? Everybody I see is old!! Or they are way too young! Life sure has gone by fast since our days at HV. There is a part of me that will always be 17 - standing on the steps leading up to Mr. Bailey's office. I have had a very interesting life - at least I think so. My greatest achievement are my six daughters and one son, I started to say "special son" but he would take offense!! I have been blessed with 3 teenage grandchildren, one precocious 5-7/8 year old and a new 6-month-old baby girl and a brand new one in the oven from my son. I have traveled the entire length of this beautiful country from Maine to Washington State on the nor...Expand for more
thern half and from North Carolina and South Carolina all the way to California, including New Orleans for Mardi Gras when I was working there once. I have worked as a school bus driver, an insurance agent, a cafeteria worker, a cashier at Hill's Dept Store when it was still here, a pipefitter helper and a medical transcriptionist which is what I am doing now at JCMC. I have just returned to the Tri-Cities from the KC MO area. No place like home and I love it here. Isn't it beautiful this time of year? I hope all of you guys and gals are happy and healthy and have someone to love them. That is the best thing anything can do for you and you for them.
