Barbara's Story

Moved to Los Altos Hills, California in 1972, Santa Clara in 1973, Monterey in 1976, Pebble Beach in 1977. Married in 1979 to Bill Pauley, divorced in 1992--no kids. Worked in Silicon Valley, 1972-1976 as a Marketing Secretary for Daconics Corp., GCA Corp., and ITT/CESD (communications & and systems division). Opened a yarn & needlework shop in Carmel CA, 1977-1981. Moved to Vacaville, CA in May 1981. Worked as a Membership Secretary, data base manager, and temporary registrar at the Vacaville Museum from 1986-1996. Graduated from University of ...Expand for more
California, Davis, in 1995. Received secondary teaching credential from UCD in 1996. Taught 10th & 11th grade English, and also Engish as a Second Language at Will C. Wood High School in Vacaville, CA, from 1996 to 2011. Retired and lovin' it! Work sporadically as an editor (Washington DC Cherry Blossom Festival Official Program, book About Luv by Angel Stell. I drive a silver Subaru Outback and camp as often as possible. Gotta love Bear Country! Love to knit, read, color, and travel I have a second (adopted) family with three God/Grandchildren.
