I left Osseo HS in the fall of 1967 while a junior, because my family moved to Michigan. It was a heart renching move that took many years for me to adjust to. While I did graduate from HS and college in Mich I still think of my years at Osseo with great fondness, and miss the many people I knew. I have not heard from one of my best friends Sherry Smith in several years, and look for her bio every now and then. Anyone know her whereabouts or email address I would love to contact her. Because I left Osseo under protest I think my memories of HS there were very positive. I remember going to many football games..remember the great game where the barn burned down during a game! eating pizza at the local pizza place we walked to after any of the sports games we all went to. That was something my friends and I were really into..going to sports events.The dances where you prayed someone would ask you to dance. My first homecoming dance was at Osseo. I remember walking to the local park and elementary schools to go ice skating, and warming up in the warming sheds. Do they still do that? Oh and the roller skating bus.aka: the make-out bus. Observed lots of action on that bus! I remember the pep ralleys, the way it seemed everyone had school spirit and we wore sayings like..trample tech. etc. Our horror at some of the football team being caught with alcohol and being suspended before an important game.
