Life
I Finally got married on Oct. 2, 1999 to a Cpl. with the Sheriff's Dept (and a member of the SWAT team). I am currently a Captain/ Paramedic with Ak-Chin Fire Dept. I have been doing EMS (emergency medical services) since 1988. I also worked for a few years as a Flight Paramedic on a helicopter and a fixed wing. I have a great 6 year old step-daughter - Tylr, a Retired German shepard police dog (my husbands partner), and 3 cats.
Update: 05-19-08 - Wow we've had a few changes since my last story. I now have 20 years in the fire/EMS service (still working as a Captain - Paramedic/firefighter), so I'm going back to school to start on a second career. has just recenelty gotten his helicopter pilot's license as well as his helicopter instructor pilot's license. So when he retire's from the sheriff's dept. in 3 years, he will go to another police agency to start his second career and fly heliopters. My beautiful step daughter just turned 14 in April and is an honor student and well as great in soccer & softball. She starts high school in the fall. My husbands police dog died 5 years ago (of old age) and one of my kitties died this March (he was almost 18 years old). But we do have 2 new dogs that we got as puppies - a 4 year-old German Shepard and a 4 year-old black lab (both are really goofy and still think they are puppies). And we still have the other two cats that are getting up there in age as well. Well that's it in a nut shell.
