Barbara's Story

I got married 3 years after graduation to a boy from Italy. We lived in Richmond for 30 years and had 5 children 2 boys and 3 girls ages 27 to 44. our first child, a boy, was born in Italy while we were visiting my in laws and in 1990, we took all five kids to Italy for a 2 month visit. We were able to travel and see some sights from England all the way to Italy. It was a highlight of our lives and one I will never forget. efore finally arriving here. I live right on the Mississippi River across from Baton Rouge in Port Allen. I bought a little house here and share it with a roommate and 2 pitbulls, one which I adopted and 1 which I am fostering for right now. I became Catholic 2 years ago and am very happy and contented. I am not as active as I would like to be due to some health issues but God has been good to me and I have no complaints really. It is nice connecting with so many classmates from school after so many years.
