Barbara's Story
I graduated from Murphy High School in 1959. We celebrated our 50th reunion in Oct this past year and had a wonderful turnout. It was great to see everyone and renew friendships. I went to work after graduation at Brookley AFB and was there until 1967. I began working at the US Army Corps of Engineers in 1974 and retired in 2000. I enjoyed all my years there and am always glad to see my former co-workers and friends. I am married with 3 children and 4 grandchildren. edical Hospital and enjoy it very much. My husband and I have taken some nice trips and it's about time for another one. I would love to travel to Italy this year.
Fast forward to May 2011. Leo and I did make that trip to Italy. We flew to Rome on 13 May and met the group
of 48 that we were to travel with for two weeks. We signed up for every extra they offered and were able to
see so much of Italy and even went to Lugano, Switzerland for a day trip. It was wonderful.
I now have a 2-1/2 year old great granddaughter.
