Barbara's Story
Life
The life story of me isn't what I thought it would be...wanted to be an artist; for some a child wouldn't hamper them, but I did so want to be there for all the moments, so I became a wife and mother...instead and I am happy with the choice; in fact, have two children and yes, they are children, until they leave home...36 and 30 and still with me...must have done something good....hahaha!!! I still have a best friend from Mac...she doesn't want to be remembered there. I was a quiet person in Mac, now I can talk to about anyone. I love my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I will tell you about Him, if you don't know Him, but there is no forcing Him down your throat. My husband and I have been married 37 years this October. I have never had to work outside of the home; well, once in a pottery place, but those wavy lines on the pots weren't...Expand for more
going away, so they let me go...the discovery of the thyroid disease happened many years later, then I knew why I couldn't straighten out those lines. At this age you would expect some sad times, but I do think I have had an overabundance of them...in fact, as of this month I just lost my Momma. A few days before my twin and I turned 25, he died in a gun accident. In 1991 my Daddy had an heart attack on our family's home front porch and no one was at home...they said, he was gone almost immediately, so...then a few months later my Mother in law died and see...in fact, until recently, there has been tragic events in my life almost yearly...including Hubbin nearly dying, as well as I...twice. I thank my Lord above for all; for in life He is in control and there is peace of abounding measure. Someday, you can hear the rest of the story, but...
