Jerry's Story
Life
Attended Modesto J.C. 1957-1959. Then one year at Sacramento State. Met Barbara Capell from San Francisco while working at White wolf Lodge in Yosemite during the summer of 1960. We married in Feb 1961. Daughter Lisa born in May 1962. Returned to Sac. state that fall, changed my major and graduated Jan. 1966 with a Park Management Degree. nth. Went to work as a Park Ranger for the City of Palo Alto in Sept.1966. While with the city also worked as a naturalist, supervisor, and retired as the city's Open Sace Superentendent in May 1994. Our grandson Myles was born in 1988 and his sister Lily was born in 1990. My wife is an artist. (painter) Since retirement we have traveled and I also spend time writing, gardening, and exercising.
