Barbara's Story
Barbara is from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Her schools include Robert E. Lee High School. She later attended University of Southern Mississippi and studied Wildlife Biology, Chemistry. She works(ed) at Hennepin County Medical Center, St. Joseph Hospital, Regions Hospital.

As an idle observer watching our hives, we stand out as a Thoreauvian observer of natural life. Using a curved piece of metal with a tapered edge as our primary tool, we fly in the face of modern technology. As an apostle of honey, nature's purest essence - nectar, the life-force of flowers - converted into food, we lead the way to man's attempt towards natural and healthy consumption. As an admirer and protector of honey bees, we symbolize all that is true in the environmental movement, certainly one of the major waves in the last several decades.
