Barbara's Story
Life
I was married to George Gardner in December 1961. We were divorced in 1967 and I moved to Lakeland. I have spent brief periods of time in other places but always seem to return to Lakeland. I love to travel and have done lots of it. I have been to Europe (Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Italy), Canada, Mexico City, Alaska, Carribbean,
Far East (Hong Kong, China, Thailand, Laos, Berma). All my travel has been as vacations. I was not lucky...Expand for more
enough to get a job traveling. I do not have any children and the single life seems to be my destiny!!! No plans or prospects for marriage. The love of my life is my poodle "Buffy". She is 7 years old and completely unspoiled! (and if you believe that.........)
I have been working for Publix Super Markets for 28 years. I will probably still be going to work (perhaps in a wheelchair or walker) until my dying breath! What a horrible thought!!!LOL
