Barbara's Story
My husband Travis and I still live in the Sacramento area. Married 39 years in December. Have 2 children, 4 grandchildren. Children; Melinda is married with 15 year old twin boys and an 8 year old little girl (going on 16). The kids are athletic, so we're busy with baseball, basketball, wrestling and dance. They live just a few blocks away, so grandma is extremely happy. Matthew is a soon to be Major in the US Army with 3 tours under his belt. is a dream. They are stationed at Ft. Lewis, Washington. Travis and I are truly blessed. We are proud of our kids and the choices they have made.
Travis is a manager for AT & T and I just retired as a Legislative/political analyst. Retirement is sweet, as I get to spend more time with the grandkids, although I do miss "the game" every once and a while. My faithful friend is Sasha, a German Shepard/husky mix (adopted).
