Barbara's Story
I went to work for 1 year after High School. Then I went to Forestry class at Hocking Tech. in Nelsonville, Ohio near Athens. I wanted to be qualified to teach kids about nature and take them on nature hikes. I was told I needed to become a naturalist which took 4 years of college. I was lazy and did not want to commit to 4 years of college. I wound up geting married in 1 year and had 2 sons. At the Doctors' office in a room filled with pregnant ladies about to have their babies the receptionist yelled out Mrs. Cock so I did not respond., so she yelled out over the loud...Expand for more

When I got divorced 5 years later I thought the best thing was to get a degree and increase my income so that I could provide, of course I had no income to raise 2 children on and instead I said to myself, I had better get a job, well just never mind the rest to date OK. I ended up with 5 years of college and no degree and no kids? Go Figure. Wait I think I have some Long Island Iced Tea in my fridge.........
