Barbara's Story
After high school, went to LMC for a while and realized that I really didn't know what I wanted to do with my life. So, I left school and started working. In 1983 I met my future husband. We married in 1986 and had 3 children-Renee, Ricky and Randy. When my kids were all in school, I returned to work. meanwhile my husband was happily doing his dream job-a police officer. In 2004, he was hurt and was off work for a year. He had to retire in 2014 due to that injury. Meanwhile I continued working, learning new skills working toward a dream that I had. doing what I wanted to do all my life-work with catering and helping with events. I am extremely happy doing what I am, the hours are great.
On another note, a sign that we are getting older, I am a proud Grandmother of 3! My daughter has married and has had 3 children-Jessiann, Wyatt, and Hunter. (Wyatt died soon after birth). She is an EMT and a volunteer firefighter for her small town in OR. Ricky and Randy are still going to school and working. No signs of another wedding from either of them (THANK GOD)
With Rick retired, we travel a little, go camping several times a year, visit the grandkids, enjoying life. I would love to hear from everyone.
