Barbara's Story
For 11 years, my significant other and I lived in a "holler" in WV (near Glenville) and had 6 dogs and 5 cats. Two of the dogs have only 3 legs, because mean-spirited hunters decided to shoot off a leg. Amazingly, and as an inspiration to me, they both adjusted well. Now that I'm back in MD, all of the animals, except one beagle are still living in WV with the folks renting our house.
After 19 years, the "old goat" talked me into marrying him! I guess I finally decided that I thought it might last.
My Kids

have better kids if I had hand-chosen them - a son and daaughter! Even though my husband and I divorced after 10 years, they both completed college and now have successful careers. For my 50th birthday, they took me on a cruise to the Bahamas. What more can I say???
My Job
After 30 years with the FBI, I retired and moved from WV back to Anne Arundel Co, MD. I did babysit for my granddaughter and am now babysitting my new grandson - I feel as though I've been given a precious gift and wouldn't trade it for anything.
