Barbara's Story
I live in the state of Washington, in a small town (Gig Harbor) near
Seattle. I retired in 2007 after 34 years as a mental health
therapist, working first for a community mental health center, then a child abuse prevention agency and the last 24 years at a health maintenance organization. I married my best friend, Bob, (who was also a social worker) in 1973 and was widowed in...Expand for more
1989. Our son
(Casey) is nearly 27 year old and he works as a computer programmer.
I highly recommend retirement and keep VERY busy with volunteer
activities and traveling. Highlight of last year was a trip to Israel.
I keep in contact with Angie Lopez Fazio and trade Christmas cards
with Barbara Moore Ellis. I saw Shelly Muser Halligan five years ago at our college reunion.
