Life Hi, Idid'nt go to Pittsfield High long soI don't know to many people from our class. After graduation, I lived in Pittsfield for a short time. I worked at a couple of restaurants and at a nursing home. I moved to South Carolina in 1980 and stayed there for a couple of years, then I moved to Manchester, Conn. I have been living here for twenty- three years. I am doing the same kind of work. I've taken some classes at the College but haven't further on at anyting. I know alot of people here in this town but I would love to get in touch with my classmates. I am working at Subway in East Hartford. The address is 395 Main Street, East Hartford. I've decided to ask everyone not to ask me personally about my children. I can'nt talk about it without breaking down and cry. I thought to write about my children here so your curiousity may be satisfied. The guy I had my children with is an alcholic. I didn't know that much about him when I got that invold. His family kept wanting to believe that he would do better. I had a nerious breakdown when two of my chilren were left in his care when our youngest was born. My youngest was born with the same thing as what the boy in the bubble had. It is called SCIDS. SCIDS stands for servere combined immunic deficenty. He is doing okay now, but he has to be given antibodies each month. He can't be given certain bacinations. We have to be glad for what ever time we have with him. My youngest boy's name is Daniel. Daniel was born eight years ago, in Durham, Carolina, at Duke University. My son and I stayed in isolation together for three and a half months, waiting for certain blood cells to form. He had a bone marrow transplant given to him when he was nine days old. My other two children were staying at home here in Connecticut. I had hope they were going to ...Expand for more
