Barbara's Story
One of my favorite childhood memories:
Hiking through the woods to play at the Rock Quarry with Marcia Lynn Gibbs, Evan Veal, Roy Gower to name a few...if our Moms had known we would have been grounded for life!
If I were granted one do-over in my life I would go to Medical School and become a Doctor (as I always dreamed of becoming).
What would surprise my classmates most is that I am not working in the profession I spent years training for.
I have been the CFO for a General Contractor for quite a few years even though I have a degree in Nursing and worked at that for the first part of my career.

ime of my life now!
I am truly happy where I am and in what I am doing...but the whom part is not complete ...yet.
Yes I'm a parent...I have learned unconditional love and acceptance from my children....they didn't get to pick who they got stuck with as parents, just as we didn't either...but I think they made the most of it
I did improve my home, I remodeled the back and added on a glassed in porch. My dream home is complete.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Evan Veal (deceased) because we were best buddies all through grade school.
My Dad was my hero.....he taught me so much about integrity and character by example....I still miss him.
I hope old friends will remember me with joy and laughter.
