Barbara's Story
After I graduated from Schurz High School I moved with my family to California, went to a Jr College for one year, took police science found out I could be an A student:) then I got married to Rick VanDerKamp, great guy, we still speak. We were together for 13 years. I worked for Bredeman Buick, Chicago Aerial Survey, went to modeling school, did some modeling and extra work for Blues Brothers, went to bar tenders school, bar tended for 3 years...Charlie Club, Sun Dance, Snuggery on Rush. Then in 83 got divorced and started working for American Airlines Baggage Service Agent, then Tickets Agent, moved back to California because my Dad had cancer. Quit American Airlines in 86 when my Dad died. Bought a house with my brother...Expand for more
Leonard in Highland Ca. Went to school and became a Realtor for Century 21, did that until I met my second husband Rick Kubesh at a Halloween party Leonard and I had at our house, got married in 1989, had my one and only child Justin on 10/31/89. In 1991 Rick and I and Justin moved to Colville, WA. It is a great little logging community of about 5,000 people one hour north of Spokane which is another great little big city. We are very close to Canada to the North and Idaho to the East. Weather is just like Chicago. My husband was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer in 08 and passed in 09. We had 20 wonderful years together and he made all my dreams come true. I have been an selling personal lines insurance for 16 years.
