Life Hi Everyone! After Highchool I moved to Bellingham, then came back to the stomping grounds and roomed with Susie Jensen, then Mary Haubert and then Denise Macy for a while, worked for Group Health Coop. for 5 years and then moved to Tacoma where I live now. Met my Husband and at 28 had my first daughter and at 30 had my second daughter. I was a professional homemaker and Mom, and couldn't imagine doing anything else. But alas they're grown up now and it was time to find something to do. Before I went back to work , I raised chickens and ducks. Doesn't sound like me does it? I Liked calling it Middle-aged McBarbie's Farm. I love to garden and raise my own veggies and flowers. And I had/have just about every kind of fruit growing in my yard that can survive Western Wa. weather. I'm a Grandma now. My soon to be X husband (he's having a midlife crisis) is an autobody repairman for Gilcrest Chev. and We raced cars at South Sound Speedway in Tenino, Wa.. We raced the MiniStocks class. My car was decorated like the NASCAR #8 Budweiser car except instead of BUD it said BARB and instead of Budweiser it says Barb'sweiser (Spelled that way on purpose) and instead of King of Beers, it said Queen of Fear(I drove a mustang). They called me "SuperChicken" and also "Speed Bump". I still get to talk to Mary Haubert/Reese/Boley also on occasion Roger Turner and recently been emailing with Pat Keenehan and Denise Macy. Husband got tired of working on two race cars and working at work on cars all day so MY car was sold. I went back to work as a Medical Records Tech for 6 months at one of the nearby hospitals, but it isn't where my heart is so I'm looking for work again. I'd love to hear from any of the old gang. I miss you all, and hope to see you at the reunions or hook up for other events.
