Barbara's Story

Left Southern California and moved to Northern California, Bay Area, meet my husbnad, got married and 2 girls, Starting working in the Medical Supply business my husband worked for HUD got hurt on the job, so he was retired. My oldest girl Rebecca went off to college at UC Davis, went on to Law Scholl in SF. met a guy who was also in Law School but at a different school. They got married, and I have 2 grand children, that I try to keep up with in Sacramento. My other daughter Kell...Expand for more
y is in the Navy and stationed in Elk Grove so the sisters are not too far apart. She also got married and has 2 children. So total I have 4 grand children and each has a boy and a girl. My husband and I have been married for 40 years and then he past away 2 years ago in July. It is an adjustment but between the girls and friends I am doing pretty good. Still go to work every day from Pittsburg to Martinez so it is a commute. That is what has happened to me since High School.
