Life
Well lets see . . . I think I am all grown up (well somewhat). I live in Orange County, New York with my two puppies, Jake and Lady. I am divorced and have no children. I commute to Bergen County every day for work - I hate the drive, but I have a good job and work with a really good group of guys so it is really not so bad.
Reflecting back - Barbara of 18 - could never have envisioned the life I have today. I am very down to earth and comfortable with myself and the woman I have become. I try on a daily basis to be the woman God intended me to be and the joys in my life are not of a materialistic nature. I have a wonderful circle ...Expand for more
of friends that I am extremely grateful for and the comfort of knowing whatever happens on any given day, I will be okay.
I do own my own home which needs a lot of love and trying to keep up is endless, but at the end of the day, when I close the door - I am home and that is a good feeling. I live on a mountain so the winters are very cozy with the fire going in the wood burning stove, the puppies nearby and me on the couch enjoying a bowl of ice cream. Not very sophisicated - but perfect for me.
So that is my story - no extravgant travels or intriguing stories - Just me, Barbara Hoyt, grateful for each day and the simple blessing that I have.
