Barbara Chunn:  

I am Barbara Hushmire. Grew up on Nesbitt Drive, went to Skyland Elementary and Cross Keys High. Married young, too young, had two children. Scott is 39 and a fireman with Forsyth County. He served 10 years in the US Army. Scott and his wife live in Cumming. It is very often times scary having a fireman in the family. Chris is 36 and a career soldier. He is a 1st Sgt and is currently on his 2nd tour in Iraq.He has been in the Army since October 1992. Chris and his wife and beautiful babies, Logan 20 months and Madalyn 7 months, live in Copperas Cove TX. Chris will be returning to Ft Hood TX in April of this year. Thank Goodness. It never gets easy for this mom. Chris has served in Somalia, Korea, Kosovo, Germany, Iraq twice..deployment is really hard on the entire family. I am married and living in Sugar Hill GA where I work in nearby Buford. Having driven the expressways for years to and from work, it is certainly nice to travel 7 roundtrip miles a day. My husband is currently working out of state, however, I am not at home alone. My mom moved in with us 4 years ago after the loss of my dad. We also have a very smart Westie names Leo.
