greetings south shore alum. i wont be able to make it to the class reunion in september but i am sure it will be, as this page is so aptly named, a roaring trip done "memory lane" . i am the director of a foundation called WALK IN MY SHOES GLOBAL PROJECT. it is a non-profit organization that my youngest son malcolm initated in high school. he will be graduating tomorrow from a university in philadelphia. we collect new and gently used children's shoes from donors in the u.s. and distribute them to children in primarily (but not exclusive to) developing countries. in 4 years we have distributed thousands of pairs of shoes to children in 24 counries i.e., mexico, senegal, guatemala, mongolia, ghana, guinea, morocco, haiti,uganda, the congo, dominican republic, ecuador, etc) . we will be traveling to sierra leone next month to distribute shoes and to provide dental care to children with no access to health care....Expand for more
