Barbara's Story

Life I lived with friends in Salem and in Portland. I moved back to Nyssa in 1978 and worked at Parma for almost a year. I thought I had a better jao and worked in Ontario before moving to Sandpoint, Idaho in 1979. I met and married my husband in 1981 and have been in Sandpoint since then. I have three children, currently ages, 20(F), 17(M) and 12(F). Also four step- dhildren, and five step-grands and two step-step-grands (one of the stepdaughters married a divorcee.) I work at the local Wal*Mart Super Center. My husband works at the local hospital (in maintenance). And Jesus doe...Expand for more
s too love you. :) Workplace I have worked at Wal*Mart #2485, for six years. I started in shoes and therefore helped in jewelry. I was dept. mgr. for five months and the became a cashier. As a cashier I worked many areas of the store including; garden, sporting goods, fabrics, electronics, courtesy desk, layaway and even learned to mix paint. In 2001, we became a supercenter and I was dpt. 82 mgr., again for ten months and have since then been cashiering. I guess I have found my spot, for now anyway. You never know what might come up when you work for a multinational corporation.
