Barbara's Story
Hello,
I really don't know where to start or what to say. Most of the folks in my high school didn't even know who I was. I suspect this will be the case now. In the off chance that someone reads this and remembers me I will share a few things about my life after high school. I joined the Navy reserves a few years after graduation just for the chance to go to school. That fell through, however I did meet my husband and the father of my wonderful two children! His name is Daniel and he was also in the Navy. We went to college in upstate New York and after he graduated with his chemical engineering degree from RPI we went back into the service for five more years. ied 18 years ago but have now settled in a small town in south central California called Bakersfield. James(our son) will be graduating high school in two years and Rachel has a few to go after him. All in all we have had an extremely blessed life and we are looking forward to the future! Since I enjoyed drama so much in school I have taken the position at my daughter's school as the Director of Drama Club. It has been both a challenging and rewarding job. We just finished our big production of Alice in Wonderland Jr (the musical). What a painful but exhilarating experience. I am already looking into what we will be performing next year! There is no possible way to write all the many fascinating things my family and I have done since high school but maybe this will be somewhat interesting to someone! Take care and God Bless
